Director U16 and Up
Craig Nosse has a M.A. in Physical Geography from the University of California - Santa Barbara and works part-time in the University of Hawaii Ocean Technology Group. Before joining the HI Heat FC, Craig had gathered a wealth of coaching experience and contacts from his time coaching in both Hawaii and Nevada and in the Olympic Development system.
Craig’s former teams have won many State Championships, made it to the semi-finals and finals of the Far West Regionals, and have won a variety of other tournaments in the mainland. Along the way, Craig’s players have received numerous college offers and have played and are playing at all levels of collegiate soccer.
Along with his coaching responsibilities, Craig is also responsible for creating the college program that HI Heat FC uses to help maximize opportunities for our student athletes to chase their dreams. The program emphasizes academics, showcasing talents, and personal and community responsibilities. Craig has two children in the club.
Craig holds a NSCAA National Diploma and a USSF State D license.
Kerry grew up in Mililani, Hawaii. He attended Mililani High School, starting his
Sophomore year, and he started all three years. He was a team captain his junior and senior year, and was named MVP his Senior year (2000) for the Mililani Trojans. He was integral in helping his club team make it to the USYS Region IV Finals his Junior year and the quarterfinals his Senior year. He began his collegiate career at the University of Southern Colorado where he started as a defender before transferring after a year there, to Gonzaga University.
After college, he returned to Hawaii and started to coach and has been ever since. Before joining HI Heat FC, he was a Director of Coaching for a premier soccer club in Honolulu. During his 13-year tenure, his teams have won multiple State Championships and have competed in tournaments locally, nationally and internationally. One of his teams have even won the prestigious Dana Cup in Denmark. Kerry’s former players can be found playing at all levels of competitive soccer and in Development Academies around the nation.
Kerry currently holds a USSF C license and a NSCAA National Diploma.
Jose was born in Honolulu, Hawaii; he was raised in a military household where he had
to move several times before finally settling in Kaneohe, Hawaii. He has a lifetime of soccer playing experience ranging from AYSO, to helping Castle High School earn their only Boys Varsity Soccer State Championship, to college soccer at California State University - Dominguez Hills where he earned a degree in Business Administration, and for a couple semi-professional teams in California. Jose discovered his passion for coaching while in high school helping some AYSO teams. And, shortly after graduating from CSU Dominguez Hills, Jose moved back to Hawaii where he began coaching with the Honolulu Bulls Soccer Club over 20 years ago. While with this former club his teams won multiple State Championships, were Finalists and Semi-Finalists at the Far West Regional Championships, and have won a variety of other mainland tournaments along the way.
Additionally, Jose has helped former players to obtain their goals by making Olympic Development Program Region IV teams, OPD Region IV Thanksgiving Interregional events, United States Youth National Teams, and continue their professional soccer careers. He has many players who are currently playing at Colleges and Universities across the United States.
Jose is married to Misty and they have three children: Zane who played soccer four years and graduated from the United States Air Force Academy, Caprice who played soccer four years and graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a top player in the NWSL, and True who is now playing soccer while attending the University of Oregon.
